SUMMARY:Morrow County COVID Vaccine Clinic for Farm & Food Processing Workers
DESCRIPTION:Morrow County is partnering with Oregon Health Authority for a pilot project that is focusing on vaccinating farmworkers and food processing workers in Morrow County. We have a disproportionate number of residents who are impacted by this global health crisis working on the front lines to provide food for our country and the world.\n\n\n\nWe are hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinics for farmworkers and food processing workers. This operation will occur over a 4-day period beginning Wednesday\, March 24th and ending Saturday\, March 27th at the SAGE Center in Boardman (101 Olson Rd NE\, Boardman\, OR 97818).\n\n\n\nAn appointment before the event dates will help expedite the process and reduce the time to be vaccinated. However\, we will be vaccinating people without an appointment based on the vaccine supply.\n\n\n\nWe encourage employers to reach out to work with the Morrow County Health Department directly to get appointments for your employees. Your employees are also more than welcome to schedule appointments with us based on their own availability.\n\n\n\nThe vaccine is offered at no charge. We are asking participants to provide their medical insurance information if they are currently insured.
