Construction Project Engineer

NOW HIRING – Construction Project Engineer
Silver Creek Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Hermiston, Oregon.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-budget construction projects. You will support the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination, technical oversight, and problem-solving across all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and owners
• Track project schedules, budgets, and material deliveries
• Perform takeoffs, quantity calculations, and cost analysis (including site utilities, concrete, and specialty systems)
• Assist with permitting, inspections, and closeout documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
• 2–5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer on multifamily, commercial, or residential projects
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, scheduling (MS Project), Excel, and Bluebeam
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work full-time in Hermiston, OR
