Bowling Bar Shift Lead

WAGE RANGE: $17.00-$21.00

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  2. Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment at all times for employees and guests.
  3. Supervision of staff to include performance, coaching, counseling, employee orientation, training, and staff scheduling.
  4. Maintains bar service areas and ensures clean, organized maintenance.
  5. Enforces all beverage service regulations, and health and safety issues for both employees and customers by WRC Alcohol Policy and OLCC Policies and procedures.
  6. Assists and maintains with updating training manual, policies, and procedures for main bar tasks and areas of responsibility.
  7. Communicate with customers and staff in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Assists in the training of staff and monitors their handling and preparation of drinks, ensuring consistency of recipe, product, and presentation.
  9. Assists in maintaining a well-organized alcohol storage facility, and ensures proper controls are in place to protect all property used in the service of alcohol.
  10. Participates in informative, weekly meetings when assigned.
  11. Complies with an employee handbook, applicable laws, department policies and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  12. Identifies areas needing improvement and develops strategies that can be implemented.
  13. Keeps open communication with the Manager and staff members to ensure the highest quality of service.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.

  1. Bowling Bar employees on shift.

  1. Personnel action forms.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

  1. Bowling Bar and F&B Controlled areas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Two (2) years experience as a bartender
  2. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
  3. High School Diploma or GED.
  4. Trained/knowledgeable of various liquor recipes.
  5. Dependable work history to work flexible schedules.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, guest service, leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.
  7. Stand and/or walk for long periods; work in a smoke-filled environment; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver 50 lbs; and have good visual and auditory acuity to respond appropriately.
  8. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  9. Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC server permit within 30 days of employment.
  10. Requires a criminal history background check.
  11. Must be at least 21 years of age.
